A note from Kaicho Sandoval……

In December of 2010, I requested from the Directors of the S.K.K.F. to

re-establish the Federation By-Laws.

 My purpose was to establish a solid, quality set of By-Laws that will stand and be administered by the Directors, in order to maintain the original concepts, ideas and teachings upon which I originally founded the Federation.

My objective is to establish a Federation built on mutual respect of all people, systems and styles and promote the development of White Crane, Shorin-Ryu, and Kobudo, thus, contributing to the health and peace of all mankind. To insure high standards by providing and upholding systematic guidelines for the practice of and teaching within SKKF member schools and other approved SKKF Dojos of my original teachings, ideas and concepts.

On July 10, 2011, I accepted and gave full authorization to the Directors of the S.K.K.F. to administer the by-laws, policies and procedures as so stated.

In this action, I, have established the SKKF Board of Directors as follows:

Ms. Janelle Hamness, Mr. Larry Naranjo, Mr. Robert Rosado and Mr. John Cox

Together, the Board of Directors  make up the SKKF Governing Body and shall be hereafter recognized, by all members and affiliations, that I have given full responsibility and authority to administer these By-Laws. I expect all members and affiliations to honor my wishes and respect the instructions and directions of the Directors

In addition, I have fully authorized the following National and International Directors:

The United States Honbu shall be considered to be John Cox Martial Arts Dojo, Kyoshi John Cox, in Kentucky.The Puerto Rico Honbu shall be considered to be Den Bushi Jutsu, Kyoshi Robert RosadoThe Canadian Honbu shall be considered to be Legacy Shorin Ryu, Hanshi Gary Legacy.

The SKKF recognizes the importance it is to maintain its Integrity/ Teachings/ Policies/ and its evolution of this Federation. Thus, as of December 2011, I have authorized the SKKF President and Board of Directors to begin taking appropriate measures to implement and facilitate the By Laws of the Federation. Like most organizations SKKF must maintain responsibility and accountability to provide current information as to authorized instructors, organizations and affiliations that hold SKKF authorization. All instructors and organization claiming affiliation will be notified and if accepted under the SKKF umbrella, affiliation will be recorded by written document by SKKF Board of Directors and will appear in the http://www.sandovalkaratekobudofederation.com website. I request those seeking to verify membership of an instructor, organization or affiliation within SKKF verify the authenticity with either a Board of Director Member or by visiting the SKKF website. Therefore, if they are not listed they are not authorized.

I have published this information publicly in order that all members, affiliations and organizations, present and future shall know my intentions and wishes. All members, associated Dojos and affiliations will be contacted soon by the Directors in order to begin the process of implementation of the new By Laws and guidelines. My expectations are the Board of Directors maintain the quality and integrity of which the Federation was founded and that all members, affiliations and organizations shall work collaboratively, professionally with the Board of Directors with respect to all to continue to promote the study of America’s Hakutsuru.
