MISSION: The mission of John Cox Martial Arts is to research Okinawan/Chinese/Japanese based Martial Arts. Our foundation is based upon mutual respect for all styles, systems and individuals providing services and guidance to develop and preserve the Martial Arts as they were originally meant to be taught.
PURPOSE STATEMENT: The purpose and objectives of John Cox Martial Arts shall be to promote the development of White Crane (Hakutsuru), Shorin-Ryu, Judo and Kobudo, thus, contributing to the Physical, Mental and Emotional health and peace of all people.
We are dedicated to preserve the traditional arts and our doors are open to anyone seriously interested in learning the Martial Arts as they were originally meant to be taught.

JCMA is proud to announce that the Worldwide United Martial Arts Federation Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona has named Hanshi Sandoval its Director. Master Juan Galva 8th Dan is the President of the WUMAF.

The Hakutsuru system presented by John Cox Martial Arts was introduced to the America's in 1989 by by Hanshi Anthony (Tony) Sandoval, Sandoval Karate Federation.
The America's Hakutsuru System is only taught in Training Centers specifically authorized by Hanshi Sandoval.

Master John Cox is appointed by Hanshi Sandoval as the Kentucky State Director for the Sandoval Karate Federation. Master Cox has over 26 years experience in studying the Martial Arts, 20 of these years has been with Hanshi Sandoval. Master Cox was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame in September 2007 and will be inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame in June 2008
Additionally Master Cox has been appointed by Kyoshi Frank Williams as the Kentucky Director for the Universal Martial Arts Association.
